Finding Your CID/CVV2
Your Card Identification (CID) or Card Verification Value (CVV2) number is a special security feature of your credit card.
CID/CVV2s are not raised, they are not scanned into standard credit card readers, and they are not stored on our server. This ensures that the number is only visible on the card itself.
Since this number is not stored on our system, you must re-enter it each time you make a purchase, even if you are using a credit card that is saved in your user account.
We require the CID/CVV2 for your protection - it helps us make sure the order is being placed by you, the card holder.
Visa, MasterCard and Discover Flip your card over and look at the signature box. You should see a 16-digit credit card number followed by a special 3-digit code. This 3-digit code is your Identification (CSC).
American Express The Card Identification Number (CID/4DBC) is a four digit, flat number ALWAYS PRINTED ABOVE the account number on the face of the card. On some cards, this number will be on the left side, but is always above the account number.
